I think Social media is the bigest shift sine thhe Industrial Revolution. It totally Changed our lives. In the new generation, it changed the way people communicate and our life style. In the past, we know the world from TV, radio, newspaper, but now we use internet,FaceBook, blog to know the world. It is fast and global. we can just stay at home and know the world.
Social Media is very important in our life. we can use blog to communicate with our friends and family. Actually, i am not good at FACEBOOK. when i was in China, we use RENREN, which is a good community for your friends.Most of my classmates in China is in that blog. we can share music and pictures there. Although i am in Canada, we still keep in touch which is amazing.
I like this course and expect to learn some exciting things in the class.
Social media is definitely a big shift. I agree that it changed everybodies live. in the past, we were limited to what was going on in the world but with social media, we are very connected to everything. The fact that you are able to contact with friends and family back home in China just goes to show one of the many positive things that social media has to offer!
